What is Cocotrienol™?

Cocotrienol is our patent pending recipe and the reason for why Fāv is the world’s healthiest chocolate!

Our Fāv Chocolate is science-based. We have combined dark chocolate with tocotrienol which are two of natures purest ingredients, both having significant health benefits. 

Where is the Fāv Chocolate manufactured?

The chocolate is manufactured at our processing facility in Provo, Utah. 

 

I’ve signed up for the monthly subscription. When will I get my first delivery?

For the first month, delivery will be made within one week after the order is made. You will receive a tracking number as soon as it is available. For subsequent months, delivery will be made every month based on your original order. If that day is on Thursday or Friday, the shipment will be sent the following Monday to keep the chocolate fresh and not melted during the hot summer season. Can I buy your chocolate as a gift?

Yes! The artful and classy design of our chocolate makes them a great present for any occasion. This is your opportunity to remind your favorite person you are always thinking of them. We offer complimentary shipping on additional boxes.

 

How can I store my chocolate?

Generally, chocolate is great stored in a container such as the package wrapper at room temperature not exceeding 82 degrees. Chocolate melting temperature is usually 86 degrees.

If kept in a refrigerator (30°F to 39°F or -1°C to 3.9°C), make sure that the packaging is properly secured to prevent condensation on the surface of the chocolate when taken out to room temperature.

Keep in mind that chocolate tends to absorb surrounding odor so it is important to store chocolate away from strong odor.

In order to experience the best texture and flavor, take out the chocolate from the refrigerator in its sealed packaging at least 10 minutes before serving. This allows the chocolates to warm to 64°F to 68°F or 17.8°C to 20°C while keeping condensation to a minimum on the chocolates.

Is your product sugar-free?

Our product contains allulose. Allulose is a low-calorie sugar that is present in many fruits. We specifically choose to work with allulose, as it does not raise blood sugar or insulin levels. There are many health benefits to allulose.

Does your product contain soy?

We do not use soy ingredients in our products, including soy protein and soy lecithin. However, our chocolatier produces our chocolate on equipment shared with soy, tree nuts, and milk. Equipment is carefully cleaned between every production run.

 

Is your product Paleo?

Although chocolate is not Paleo in the sense that our cavemen ancestors weren’t eating it by the bar, dark chocolate is allowed in moderation on the Paleo diet, in part due to the numerous health benefits that have been correlated with the cacao component of chocolate. Just like many other plant foods, the cocoa bean itself has powerful health-promoting properties: it’s a rich source of healthy fat and antioxidants, not to mention several important minerals.

 

Is your product gluten free?

Our product is Gluten Free Certified. We have a strict sanitation policy to ensure there is no allergens present. However, we cannot guarantee the total absence of allergens in the chocolate.

 

Does your product contain nuts?

Currently, our product does not contain nuts. 

 

Do you ship to Hawaii, Alaska or international?

We limit our shipments to domestic shipping. Our experiences with international gift taxes and customs delays as well as refused and returned packages have forced us to institute this policy. Chocolate can also melt in transit, and this is more likely when shipped outside the United States.

We will do everything to ensure that your chocolate arrives in excellent condition. Chocolate is one of those food items that can melt and we take extra steps in the shipping process to get it to you without melting. If your chocolate has started to melt, simply place it in the refrigerator until it returns to its solid state. Because our chocolate is pure and has no milk products, it will still be safe and healthy to eat.
